TGIF!!!

I Love Fridays!!! Is it possible to actually be in a bad mood on a Friday? I don't think so! I don't think I've ever had a bad friday. I guess it has something to do with NOT waking up to an alarm clock the next day!


Today I went to the post office and I parked next to this truck that was decked out........................in REFLECTORS!!! (See Pictures Below). I've never seen anything like it. It also had a bunch of Hood Ornament type things all over the hood and tailgate. It was REALLY red neck looking. I quickly took pictures with my camera phone while trying not to look too obvious. These pics honestly don't even do it justice. It had to have 300+ reflectors on it and probably 75+ hood ornaments around it. Everything from Bulldogs to naked ladies!!! Wierd

After work, I went to clean my moms house. I clean her house once a week because she travels for work 3-4 days a week and when she's home, she doesn't like cleaning. So, since I'm a Clean-O-Halic, I do it for her. I get paid though. She pays me $45, it takes me between 1 1/2 to 2 hours. So, it's pretty good money! Anyway, when I got there today, Kayla (my niece) was there. Of course she was excited to see me and following me everywhere. She asked if she could help me clean. Normally, I don't let her because she makes more a mess when she trys to help, but I decided to let her help. So, I gave her a job to do (see pic below). She thought it was fun at first and then she said " THIS IS KINDA GROSS, I DON'T WANT TO HELP ANYMORE. I'LL JUST KEEP YOU COMPANY". LOL. Smart Girl!!!



Russ and I just watched Mr. Deeds. I love that movie. Now I'm going to go to bed. Early to Bed...........Early to RISE (I'm speaking of my husband )

Oh What a Relief!

I got our statement from the insurance company for our appointment at the Fertility clinic last month. At that appointment they drew 9 vials of blood from me for tests and 4 for Russ. Also, we had the consultation. At the time they just charged us the co-pay. The last time I had blood work (4 vials) we had WellPath (fuck you over) insurance and they didnt cover ONE penny. I got a bill for $360. So, I was REALLY dreading this bill even though we switched insurance companies, I wasn't sure what they'd cover so I was still scared. I opened up the bill and the "original" charges were $675, we are only responsible for $98.14!!! That is soooo freakin' awsome! I feel SO much better now.



I've determined that my dog Carter is a moron. When I got home today, I gave him and Koko (our other dog) a rawhide bone. Usually, we give them these little flat ones, but Russ bought them a special mixed bag of really big raw hide bones. So we had 2 left. One was a circle, about 3" in diameter, and the other was a straight 6" bone. Both are about and inch or so thick. Anyway, I gave Carter the round one and gave Koko the straight one. Well Carter was just walking in circles with the bone in his mouth whining. I was thinking what the hell is wrong with him. Then it dawned on me, maybe he doesnt know how to eat a circular bone. So, I switched their bones. Gave Koko the round one and Carter the straight one. Well, Carter laid right down and started chewing on his bone. Obviously he IS a moron. Koko has no problem eating the round bone.


I want a FRIED GREEN TOMATO so bad right now! I've never ever had one, but they look and sound SO good! I have a recipe for them now, but I can't find any Green Tomatoes! So, I'm going to have to grow my own! I've never grown a vegetable before. I have trouble keeping plants alive, but I'm really going to try because I REALLY want one!! Everyone says they are really easy to grow, so I'll give it a shot. That will be my project this weekend! How bad would it suck if I went through all this work and ended up hateing them. That would suck! But, I'm willing to risk it!

Well, Russ just walked in with my Fiesta Taco Salad, YUM, so I gotta go!

Hot! Hot! Hot!

It was 85 here today! It was so nice and sunny! However, the air conditioning didn't work at the office, so I was sweating like crazy. And I wasn't doing anything either. Sitting and typing. People should not sweat when they are not doing anything. It's unnatural! I was mighty appreciative to get in my air conditioned car.

Work was good, but it's been really slow. I'm loving getting out of work now at 3:30. I have so much evening left. Summer is going to GREAT! I have so many plans. I really need to help Russ out in the yard. He has so much to do with his regular job and side jobs, and he doesn't need to worry about ours. So, I'm going to motivate and do some damn work in that yard. He's always been the one who does everything outside. It will be nice if I start getting involved and help out!

I forgot to mention how appalled I was the other day while at the Japanese express restaurant. At first I thought that maybe I was just getting old and becoming a fuddy duddy, but the more I think about it, I believe I had a reason to be appalled.
I was waiting for my take out order and In walks this kid (16-17 years old) and his girlfriend (14-16 years old) they order there food (to go) and when he turns around I look at his shirt and it says "OF COURSE I LOVE YOU, MY DICKS HARD ISN'T IT". Now maybe if I was at a party, I would not have been so offended, but there were children in the restaurant. Children that were anywhere from 7 -12 years old were there and more then capable of reading this shirt that they had a clear view. What must they have thought. And how will their parents explain it to them if they ask. If I had a kid in there of reading age, I would have kicked that kids ASS!!! He could have turned it inside out for fucks sake.



I just got done watching American Idol and once again, Sanjaya is STILL THERE! No wonder we can't pick a freaking president, we obviuosly have a bunch of morons in this country voteing! This season has been so uneventful. There is not even any really great singers to root for. However, I do believe that Jordin and Blake are good, but not great! I don't really get psyched to watch anymore.

I feel Useless

Today my life was pretty average. I went to work. Went to get my nails done after work. Came home and payed some bills. Pretty boreing.

I did chat with Jen about her interview. The interview went great, but she has a major decision to make and I feel bad for her. There is so much to weigh and I don't know how she's going to figure out the best choice. I wish I could wave a magic wand and just give her the dream flying job close to her home. It makes me sad that I can't help her.

I'm also sad for Sara. Today would have been her due date. For as long as I've been trying and ALL the dissapointing BFN's and depression episodes, I've never had to go through a miscarriage. I'm not sure that I could handle it. I envy Sara's strenght and her ability to move on. I envy everyone on EB whose had to deal with miscarriages. I know that I am not a strong person. I think going through that would probably ruin me. I'd like to think I could handle it as well as Sara or Laura or Erin, but truth is, I think I'd be on some major medication.

Like my heading says,I just feel useless because I can't help them. However, I'm sending all my prayers and love to both Jen and Sara today. I think your both absolutely Amazing women and I know that someday, ALL your dreams will come true!! Love & Baby Dust!

Happy Monday!

Well, today started like SHIT! I was supposed to start my new hours (7am-3:30pm), I told Russ this last night. So, I re set my alarm, however, I left it on CD not on Alarm and there was NO CD in the player, so nothing happened when my alarm went off. Russ, being the oblivious man that he can "occasionally" be, got up, took a shower, checked the weather, had his coffee and dressed and then came in to kiss me goodbye and said "Thought you were going in early"!! DUH! Why the fuck are you waiting until 6:30 to question that ASS! I was so pissed! I got to work at 7:15. No make up, but at least I was showered. And, at least I work for my dad.

I had my Junior Achievement classes today from 11-1pm. I was teaching them about the importance of newspapers and what information is in them. I asked the class how many of then read the newspaper (they are in 3rd grade) and a bunch of hands went up. So, I asked them "What do you read in the paper?". I got the typical answers, Comics, sports, front page, ads,etc. Then I called on Cassie. Here is how THAT conversation went;

Me: Ok Cassie, What section do you read?
Cassie: I read the section where they list all the arrests and crime and stuff
Me: Oh, ok that's good to be informed
Cassie: I have to read that section because my Mom's friends are usually in that section
Me: Ok.............um.................Conner, what section to do you read?

I almost could NOT control the laughter. To make it worse, out of the corner of my eye, I could see the teacher silently laughing extremely hard. it took everything I had to not laugh. And the sad part is....This girl is in 3rd GRADE. She shouldn't know that her mother has Criminals for friends! What she has must seen. It's really NOT funny. But the whole way she just admitted it. Goes to show you, Kids are way more aware then you give them credit for!

I left work at 3;45pm and came home. Problem is.....Russ was doing a side job at his bosses house and wasn't going to be home until 8pm. Well, he's the cook. Without him, I don't really eat! Well, I'll eat like Cheese and crackers, but I won't eat real dinner. I was IM'ing with Jen and Laura and before I knew I was STARVING! It was almost 7pm and NO WAY was I going to cook. So, I decided to go get some Japanese! It was $6 and it was YUMMY! But, I ate it waaaayyy too fast since I was so hungry and it made my tummy hurt!

Now I'm watching Without A Trace from last night and it's really good, so I need to sign off and watch it!

Beer For Breakfast???

Yes, I had beer for breakfast. Sort of. It was 1:30pm when I had the beer. I got up at 11:15am (don't' know why I slept so late) and then I showered and went to my bowling tournament. This guy Rob owed me a pitcher from the last time we bowled and he handed me a beer at 1:30. So, the first thing I had to (aside of my morning cup of coffee) was a BEER. It's kind a sad. I'm almost embarrassed to admit it. But such is life.
I bowled OK. Actually, the more I drank, the better I bowled. By the last game on about my fourth beer (small cups) I bowled a 181. Not bad. My average is 138.
Anyhow, now I'm watching TV and waiting for Russ to get home. He's out golfing with some friends from work. He asked if I minded if he golfed 9 more holes at about 5pm, I told him fine as long as he wasn't to tired for a little nookie later!
Speaking of nookie, my sister (36 years old) came to the bowling tournament with a Hickey on her neck! I very loudly pointed it out to my parents who where also bowling. And her boyfriend was there. I embarrassed them both. I would feel bad except when I was 16 and had a hickey, my sister felt it was her place to point it out to my mom. Payback is a Bitch!!! See, sometimes it takes years, but you usually always get a chance to pay back the people who did you wrong in the past:).

I watched the movie Freeway with Reese Witherspoon, Keifer Sutherland, and Brook Sheilds a little while ago. It was BAD! Not only was it just not good it was disturbing. And yet, I couldn't help but watch the whole damn thing. I don't know why either. I feel like i just wasted an hour and a half of my life that I'll never get back!

Well, I'm off to have some left overs for dinner. Then I'm going to finish up the laundry, plan my Junior Achievement lesson plan for tomorrow and head off to bed!

Girls Night Out

Last night my Mom, Sister, and I went to see a play in Salisbury. My mom buys us season passes every year and it's the on thing that the 3 of us do together. Last nights play was "Midsummers Nights Dream, The Disco". It was great. I never read mid summers night dream, so I wasn't really all that excited about the play, but it ended up being really good. It was basically a musical with disco music and they did a really great job. However, I decied that I've watched too much American Idol because in my head I was critisizing the singers.
After the play you could stay and dance on stage that they had made into a dance floor however, we chose not to. We went back to the Elks Lodge and had a drink and then I came home.

I figured out who the police were looking for the other day when they were swarming around the neighborhhod the other day. There was a 13 year old girl that was shot and killed las t week sometime. She was not the target, just caught in the crossfire. Anyway they had arrested a kid earlier in the week for the murder but now they have arrested 5 more people in connection with it. I believe they were looking for 1 or more of the suspects that day. I can't be for sure, but thats the only thing that happened that day, so it would make since.
Glad I got the hell out of there!!!

Today I'm going to CLEAN. I'm so glad that our bowling league is over. I had a lot of fun bowling, but it was smack dab in the middle of Saturday (2pm-5pm) and it just messed up my whole day. I do have a bowling tournament tomorrow, but that leaves me ALL DAY to clean and do my laundry. Then tonight The Color Purple is on oxygen. I'm so excited. That is one of my favorite movies. I have set the DVR to record it. I think Russ likes it to. Wonder if he'll watch it with me. Doubt it. But it would be nice if he did.

Well, I'm off to throw a load in the wash and start cleaning. Have a Great Day!

Twice is Nice!

So Russ came back home from his business trip last night and we had "Relations" TWICE! That has not happened since our Honeymoon!! It was great. I'm so loving our relationship right now. I feel like we just started dating. It's such an amazing feeling! I haven't even thought much about the whole infertility thing. I don't think I've been this relaxed and calm in over a year. Its nice. I think Russ is liking it too.

Today started out as a normal day. Went to work and was having a good day! I was at work (all by myself) at around 3:50pm or so, I heard all sorts of sirens. At first, didn't think much of it,but then they sounded really close. I got up and looked out the door and that's when I saw a whole BUNCH of police cars screeching up our street with lights and sirens. I don't really work in a nice area. It's not terrible, but it's not nice either. It sort of freaked me out. About 5 minutes later, the police came back down the road, no lights and sirens. So, I figured it was some sort of false alarm. Well, when I went back and checked a 5-10 minutes later, I noticed that there were a bunch of cop cars driving up and down my road and the surrounding roads. Then I realized they were looking for someone. Well, I watch a LOT of Law & Order and Without a Trace, so my ass got the hell out of there! With a quickness!!! I don't know what was going on, but I wasn't sticking around to find out. The good news is I didn't hear any gun shots!

I'm at home now safe and sound! Waiting on Russ to get home. He's out hitting some golf balls. He's a golf addict. He's been working a lot lately and hasn't had much time to golf. It's a good stress reliever for him and it keeps him in shape and looking all sorts of HOT! So, I encourage him to golf as much as he can.

Well, I suppose I should find myself some dinner and get ready for Grey's Anatomy!

Ok. I did it! I actually started a Blog! I'm so excited I don't even know what to write!
Thanks Jen for letting me know how easy this was to do!

I'm watching American Idol. Praying that Sanjay goes HOME! In the mean time, I'll tell you about me.

I met my Mr. Right (Russ) in January 2003. Got engaged in August 2004 and married him in July 2005. We had some bumps in the road, but we made it through. One big stress is this whole TTC business. We really thought we would be pregnant pretty quick after we got married (since we used to go at it like bunnies), but to our surprise............not so!!
We tried for a year. And I mean TRIED!!! I took my temps, I took OPK's, we BD like mad and still NO BFP. After a year, we started the fertility testing. All tests were coming back good until the Mucus Test! This test requires you to have Sex and then go to the Dr (right before ovulation) so they can see how the sperm interact with the mucus. Well, guess what????? Not so Good! All the sperm.........DEAD! I was convinced that I had Anti-Sperm Anti-Bodies. However, we've since went to REACH fertility Clinic in Charlotte, NC. During our Appointment, Dr.Crain since I do not have Anti-bodies (well, he assumes since it's so rare), however, since I'm a non-believer, I asked for a test! They took 9 Vials of blood from me and 5 from Russ (my husband), testing a variety of things. We'll get the results on April 12. Also, we'll get the results from Russ's 2nd sperm analysis and African Frog penetration test(yes, it is what it sounds like). So, we're in the waiting game. But! I'm hopeful! I have no doubt that I'll get my baby. It's just going to take a litte time.

Well I was typing this, I just found out that STUPID SANJAYA is NOT going home! I'm pissed. He freakin' sucks!!! Stupid America Voters!!!

I'm so annoyed now. I can't even type anymore! I think I need to go vent. Maybe I'll go get me some to make me feel better!!
